James Pitman Acipd

James Pitman ACIPD has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. James began their career as a Travel Consultant with British Airways in 2000 and later worked as a Customer Service Agent for Cathay Pacific Airways. In 2005, they joined Emirates as a Ticket Desk Supervisor, leading a team and managing the reservations and ticketing procedures. In 2013, they transitioned to the role of Learning and Development Specialist at Emirates, where they were responsible for designing and delivering training solutions across multiple sites in the UK, Europe, Russia, and the USA.

In 2019, James joined GXO Logistics, Inc. as a Learning and Development Manager. During their tenure, they oversaw the L&D requirements for a luxury e-commerce business, managing onboarding, core competency training, third party supplier management, and leadership development. James also played a key role in employee engagement and diversity and inclusion initiatives.

From 2021 to 2023, James worked at AJW Group, initially as a Learning & Development Partner, where they rebuilt the L&D function after Covid-19. James was involved in creating L&D policies, managing the learning management system, onboarding, and departmental training packages. Later, they took on the role of Senior Learning & Development Partner, where they restructured the L&D function across the group and provided global solutions to multiple stakeholders.

Currently, James is the Global Training Lead - HRIS at Swissport, a position they assumed in 2023. The details of their responsibilities and achievements in this role are not provided.
