David Brendan Hall

David Brendan Hall is an independent photographer and journalist with over 12 years of experience in producing music, news, food, and arts photo coverage. Since August 2009, Hall has contributed to various local and national outlets, including the Austin Chronicle and Billboard, while managing all aspects of an independent business. With a strong focus on branding and marketing, Hall has led the SXSW Sponsorship photo team for seven years and has served as a staff photographer and contributing writer for The Austin Chronicle since 2014. Additional roles include coordinating marketing strategies at Haute Spot Venue and contributing to multiple publications, including Consequence of Sound and American Songwriter Magazine. Hall holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Chapman University.
