Ryan Fowler

Ryan Fowler, CCP, has extensive experience in compensation management and analytics, currently serving as the Director of Compensation & People Analytics at Symetra since October 2016. Prior roles at Symetra include Compensation Manager, Sr Compensation Analyst, and Compensation Analyst. Previously, Ryan worked as a Compensation Consultant at PayScale, Inc. from March 2014 to October 2016, where responsibilities included strategizing pay strategies, designing compensation solutions, and coaching HR leaders. Earlier positions involved insurance roles at Progressive Insurance and risk management at Expeditors International. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Central Washington University, earned between 2001 and 2007.
