Jon Tallon

Jon Tallon has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jon currently works at symplr as the VP of Engineering - Operations since July 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Software Engineering at symplr from October 2018 to July 2021. Before joining symplr, Jon worked at GE Healthcare as the Director of Software Engineering, where they provided leadership for a global program focused on modernizing a healthcare scheduling solution. Their responsibilities included directing the efforts of nearly 30 teams and over 150 software and quality engineers using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Jon also held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at GE Healthcare.

Prior to GE Healthcare, Jon worked at RedPrairie in various roles. Jon served as the Director of Development Services from January 2012 to January 2013, Director of Quality Assurance from July 2007 to January 2012, Service Director from June 2006 to July 2007, and Training Manager from April 2005 to June 2006. During their time at RedPrairie, Jon also worked as a Project Consultant, providing senior technical consultation on supply chain implementations, including a multi-site warehouse management project for Bio-Rad in both the United States and France, with complex requirements such as hazardous material management. Jon also held the positions of Project Leader, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer at RedPrairie from 1997 to 2005.

Jon Tallon completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Michigan Technological University from 1993 to 1997. Jon later furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from the Milwaukee School of Engineering between 2015 and 2018.
