Azadeh Kian, PhD

Azadeh Kian, PhD has extensive experience in the field of advanced technologies, research, and engineering. Currently, they serve as a Senior R&D Engineer at Synchron, where they focus on developing innovative technologies. Azadeh is also an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, contributing to research projects in a collaborative environment. In their previous role as an Adjunct Research Fellow at Victoria University, they conducted valuable research as a Biomechanics Engineer. Additionally, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they gained expertise in biomechanics and data analysis. Prior to that, they worked as a Biomedical Data Scientist and Consultant at Neuromote, where they provided valuable insights and expertise in data analysis. Azadeh also gained experience as a Data Analyst at dorsaVi, where they played a key role in developing computational algorithms and collaborating with clients. Before that, they worked at The University of Melbourne as a PhD researcher, academic mentor, and tutor, conducting research and data analysis on bio-signals in MATLAB. Azadeh also worked part-time as a Biomedical Engineer at The Royal Children's Hospital and served as a Research Engineer at Tameshkinrad Consultants Co, where they conducted project-based research in various biomedical, rehabilitation, and sports industries. Azadeh'sresearch and engineering work spans various domains and demonstrates their expertise in data analysis, statistics, and machine learning techniques.

Dr. Azadeh Kian received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Melbourne in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic. In 2013-2014, they also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Fanpardaz Higher Education. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Kian has obtained certifications in various fields, including Machine Learning, Power BI, and SQL Data Reporting and Analysis.
