Bryon Rael is an accomplished sourcing and quality leader with extensive experience in various roles at major corporations. Currently serving as Vice President of Sourcing at Synchrony Financial, Bryon oversees a $1.2 billion buy, ensuring cost productivity and contract execution. Previous roles include Indirect Sourcing Commodity Leader at GE Capital and Director of Quality at GE Energy, responsible for quality across 21 GE sites and a $650 million buy. Throughout a notable career at GE Consumer & Industrial, Bryon held multiple positions that demonstrated expertise in product management, purchasing, and quality improvement, including mentoring Black and Green Belts, launching innovative refrigeration products, and leading successful teams to achieve significant cost savings. Educational background includes an MBA in Finance from Webster University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
