David Rosen

David Rosen has a diverse work experience that spans several companies in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. David currently works as the Senior Director of Research at Synthekine, a position they began in 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Ascendis Pharma, including Senior Director of Adaptive Immunology and Director of Adaptive Immunology. David also worked at Merck Research Labs as a Principal Scientist and Associate Principal Scientist, where they led projects in immunology and immuno-oncology. Earlier in their career, David held positions at Nodality Inc. as a Scientist and Scientist III, and at the University of California, San Francisco as a Graduate Student Researcher. David began their career as a Research Intern at Pepgen, where they focused on structure-function analyses of human IFN alpha variants.

David Rosen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1998 to 2002. David further pursued higher education and completed a PhD in Biology at the University of California, San Francisco, between 2002 and 2007.
