Martin Knoetze

Martin Knoetze is an experienced FPGA designer with a career spanning over two decades in the electronics and design engineering sectors. Currently serving as an FPGA Designer at Syntronic since May 2019, Martin previously held roles as an FPGA Design Consultant at inDSP and FPGA Designer at Edgewater Computer Systems. Martin's background includes significant contributions to avionics systems at Esterline CMC Electronics, where responsibilities involved creating documentation to ensure FPGA functionality. Earlier roles included senior hardware design for video production equipment at Ross Video Ltd and principal hardware design at Tality Corporation, where Martin contributed to the development of traffic management ASICs. Martin's expertise encompasses a broad range of FPGA projects, including communications interfaces, switch development, and special effects design for video signals. Martin holds a B.Ing. in Electronics from the University of Pretoria.
