VP, Sales Strategy & Execution at Sysco

Erin Engels is the current VP of Sales Strategy & Execution at Sysco. Prior to their current role, Erin served as the Executive Vice President at Sysco Houston from July 2018 to June 2019. In this role, Erin was responsible for partnering with the Division’s President to achieve P&L readiness with direct responsibility for ops/produce in a unionized environment.

Erin has also held the role of VP, Strategic Planning at Sysco from May 2009 to June 2018 where they were instrumental in exceeding plan expectations of growing operating income by leading Sysco’s 3-yr strategic plan development, expanding footprint/revenue, and reducing admin costs. Prior to joining Sysco, Erin was a Manager at BearingPoint from March 2006 to May 2009 where they developed and delivered value creating solutions in the areas of strategy and transformation for client companies across multiple industries.

Erin began their career as an intern at Ford Motor Company from January 2004 to December 2004 before moving into a consultant role at TSG from January 2001 to December 2003.

Erin Engels studied engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned a BS. Erin then pursued an MBA and MS at the same school.

They work with and Greg Keller - SVP, National Sales. Erin Engels reports to Greg Bertrand, EVP, U.S. Foodservice Operations.
