Brian Carlton

Brian Carlton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Brian currently works at Sysdig as the Director of Americas Sales Engineering. Prior to that, they were the Director of the West at Sysdig. Brian also worked as a Senior Storage Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services and held various leadership positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including Director of West/Central Global & Enterprise Storage Architecture and Director of the West - Commercial Storage Architecture. Before that, they worked at Nimble Storage as a Systems Engineering Manager and Senior Systems Engineer. Earlier in their career, they worked at Dell as a Storage Architect, Delta Systems Associates as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Steelhead Data as a Senior Systems Engineer, and the El Dorado County Office of Education as a Systems Administrator. Brian also founded BCPCs Computer Services and worked as the President. Brian began their career as an Information Technology Assistant at Carlton Engineering, Inc.

Brian Carlton earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University in 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Network and Communications Management from DeVry University between 2005 and 2008. Brian also holds a certification as a VMware Certified Professional (VCP4) from VMware.
