Dr Marnie Gibson

Dr Marnie Gibson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dr Marnie currently serves as the Global Director of People at T2 Tea. Prior to this, they worked as a Lecturer/Tutor at the University of Southern Queensland. Dr Marnie also held the position of People & Culture Director at Treasury Wine Estates, where they oversaw the HR team and ensured the achievement of strategic and operational objectives. At PwC Australia, Dr Gibson held various positions, including National OD Lead, Senior Manager Leadership & Talent, Head of OD, and Program Director People Experience & Branding. Dr Marnie was responsible for overseeing the national organizational development function for over 8500 employees. Dr Gibson also served as the Group OD & Capability at Incitec Pivot Limited and Regional HR Manager - Asia Pacific at Glanbia Performance Nutrition. Dr Marnie played a crucial role in developing and implementing people strategies aligned with business goals. Earlier in their career, Dr Gibson worked as an HR Manager at City of Port Phillip, HR Manager at IG Markets, Corporate Trainer/Facilitator at Maura Fay Workshops, and National HR Consultant at Forever New Clothing.

Dr Marnie Gibson holds a Doctorate of Business Administration in HR - Leadership and Engagement from the University of Southern Queensland, which they obtained from 2016 to 2021. Dr Marnie also completed a Leadership Development Program in Organizational Leadership at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they completed a Board Leadership Program in NFP Board Leadership at Leadership Victoria in 2014. In the same year, they also obtained a degree in Leading Organisational Change, specializing in Change Management, from the University of Southern Queensland. Prior to this, they earned a Masters in Human Resource Management from Edith Cowan University from 2010 to 2013. Dr Marnie'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in English/Sociology from Curtin University and a Bachelor's degree in Dramatic Arts (Acting) from Victorian College of the Arts.

In terms of certifications, Dr Marnie Gibson has obtained various qualifications, including Foundations of Teaching and Learning for Educators from the University of Southern Queensland in 2022. Dr Marnie is also accredited in The Leadership Circle, Korn Ferry Leadership Architecture, DiSC, Gensys Psychometric Testing, and has a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment. Dr Marnie is a member of the Australian HR Institute (AHRI), holding the CAHRI designation.
