Chen Lim

Chen Lim is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in control systems and software engineering, currently serving as the Lead Controls Engineer at TAE Life Sciences since November 2020. Chen has successfully led multi-disciplinary teams, developed scalable software architectures for cancer treatment accelerators, and made significant improvements to control hardware design, optimizing safety and cost-efficiency. Previous roles included Process Control System Engineer at Lumitron Technologies, where Chen designed safety systems and mentored interns, and Software and System Engineer at PBS Biotech, where several innovative projects were completed on schedule. Chen's additional experience spans various engineering and research roles, notably at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and ATS Consulting, contributing to projects with a focus on automation, software development, and data acquisition. Chen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Systems Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
