Debby Mermelstein has a varied work experience. In 2015, they began their career as a Group Leader & Coordinator at Hanoar Hatzioni. In 2017, they joined Israel Experience® as a Program Coordinator and Group and Logistics Coordinator. In this role, they created custom-made programs, led projects from start to finish, and cared for the well-being of program participants and staff. In 2019, they worked as a Market Research Intern at Meidata, conducting market research in Spanish, collecting and analyzing business information, and presenting it in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. In 2018, they were a Lecturer at Machon Le Madrichim. Most recently, they have been a Customer Success Team Lead and Customer Success Manager at Tailor Brands since 2020.

Debby Mermelstein began their education in 2015 when they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business Administration from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 2018, they participated in an exchange program at McGill University, where they studied Psychology. Debby also took courses in Business Administration and Management, General at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management. In 2019, they returned to The Hebrew University of Jerusalem to pursue a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
