What You'll Do

  • Data management and  monitoring of Tala’s loan servicing operations
  • Create globally consistent, accurate, real-time dashboards for key Collections & Customer Service metrics
  • Collect and Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques to provide Ad Hoc and BAU reports
  • Develop and implement datasets, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize process efficiency and quality
  • Perform basic performance trend analysis and conceptualize action items to improve operational efficiency
  • Monitor headcount ratios and budget compliance
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis
  • Automation and optimization of reports, insights and data collection
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

What You'll Need

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience and BS in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, Statistics or related fields
  • Strong SQL and Python skills and experience with building data infrastructure to support reporting and analytical needs.
  • Experience with data warehouses and ETL/data transformation pipelines.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Experience with digging into underlying data and identifying discrepancies and business logic.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence in a dynamic, cross-functional environment; customer-focused, with a strong history of driving results, managing complexity and dealing with ambiguity.
