Erica K.

Erica K. has been working in the tech industry since 2005. Erica began their career as a Developer at Mercurial, then became a Software Engineer at Electronic Arts (Rupture) in 2007. In 2010, they joined Square as a Software Engineer, where they worked on all major server-side parts of the company. In 2013, they moved to Code for America as a Senior Engineer, and mentored Code for America fellows. In 2014, they joined Nuna Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and built the initial V2 of a data validation engine for Nuna's commercial health insurance analytics tool. In 2017, Erica K. joined brightwheel as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2019 they moved to Tall Poppy as Chief Technology Officer, Head Of Engineering, and Lead Software Engineer.

Erica K. attended the University of Victoria from 1999 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
