André Santos

André Santos has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. André began their career in 2005 as a Videographer and Producer, working on various projects until 2015. In 2016, they transitioned to become an iOS Developer at Cleverti, where they developed, maintained, and delivered mobile apps for international clients using iOS, Swift, and Objective-C.

In 2018, André joined Celfocus as a Frontend Developer in the telco business product team. André played a key role in developing frontend customer journeys and supporting backend API development using ReactJS, Redux, Flow, Jest, JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS, and Git.

In 2020, André joined Talkdesk as a Frontend Developer in the reporting team and data platform. André worked on apps that provided real-time and historical data to users, using ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Kotlin, Jenkins, Docker, shell scripting, and Git.

Currently, André is working at Tamanna.com as a Frontend Developer. André is responsible for delivering features and web app improvements for an e-commerce vendor platform and design system. André actively contributes to code reviewing, web performance tuning, CI/CD pipeline improvements, Scrum ceremonies, and technical screening and interviewing. André utilizes a tech stack that includes TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Jest, MSW, HTML, CSS, Docker, Java, and Git.

André Santos has a diverse education history. In 2002, they started their journey by earning a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. André then pursued their passion for Film, Video, and Multimedia Production at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa, where they obtained a Licentiate degree that spanned from 2004 to 2011.

In 2006, Santos participated in the Erasmus Program at the University of Silesia in Katowice, focusing on Cinematography and Film/Video Production. This international experience further enriched their knowledge in this field. Following that, in 2012, they pursued a Post-Graduate Degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, complementing their expertise in the technological domain.

Santos continued their educational journey by attending the React GraphQL Academy in 2018, specializing in Advanced ReactJS. Moreover, in the same year, they obtained certifications including the CCP (ex-CAP) - Pedagogical Competences Certificate from IEFP and the IELTS - Band Score 9 from the British Council.
