Tara Conger

Tara Conger has been with Tandem HR since December 2011, serving as President since 2019. Tara has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources. Prior to Tandem, Tara was the Human Resources Manager at First Choice Dental from October 2007 to December 2011. While at First Choice Dental, Tara was responsible for human resource functions including, but not limited to: staffing, compensation, benefits, performance management, training/organizational development, retention/turnover, and employee relations. Tara created and implemented employee retention strategies that resulted in a decreased turnover rate from 25% to 12%. Tara also implemented and managed an annual company-wide wellness campaign that resulted in a decrease in health insurance rates and was awarded money from our health insurance carrier towards our wellness program.

Tara Conger has a Masters of Science in Sports Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Tara also has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & HR Management (Double Major) with a minor in Business Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Tara Conger also has certification from SHRM in SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), certification from PCHC University in CPCHC - Certified in Patient-Centered Healthcare Consumerism, certification from SHRM in SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), and certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in PHR - Professional in Human Resources.
