Alex Theroux has a diverse work experience in design, marketing, and user experience. They are currently serving as the Head of Design at Tangerine since December 2021. Additionally, Alex worked as a Marketing Manager at Alenu IT Business Solutions Pte Ltd from February 2012 to April 2012, an Art Director at SSENSE from August 2009 to January 2012, and an Assistant Store Experience Planner at Club Monaco in 2008.

Alex Theroux completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Computation Arts at Concordia University from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, they also studied Chinese Language & Culture at the Communication University of China. Additionally, they spent some time at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in the same year, but it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study there.
