Karen Woods

Karen Woods has extensive work experience in the banking sector. Karen is currently the Vice President of Sales, Service, and Operations at Tangerine since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Scotiabank for over 16 years in various roles. Karen'sroles at Scotiabank include Director of Sales Optimization and Governance, Contact Centre Strategy and Design, Director of Business MIS and Monitoring, Correspondent Banking, Director of Project Management Office, Global Business Payments, Client Relationship Management in Global Banking and Markets, and Financial Markets Economist. Karen started their career at Scotiabank as an Economist in February 2006 and worked their way up through various positions.

Karen Woods completed their Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Economics from the University of King's College/Dalhousie University from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Branksome Hall from 1994 to 1999. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics from Queen's University from 2004 to 2005.
