Please note this role is 5 days a week in our Orpington office. 

The Role

We have an exciting and unique opening for a fantastic Marketing Assistant at Tapi. We’re responsible for branding through brilliant creative, integrated channel advertising, promotions, PR and Social Media. And we’re looking for a highly experienced person to manage fast-paced, complex marketing projects. This is a pivotal role in the business and requires a highly organised person with meticulous attention to detail and a progressive, solution-oriented approach.

Your Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the Brand and Communications Director, you’ll have a pivotal role in bringing the brand vision to life through coordinating marketing projects and delivering campaigns, keeping the marketing alignment calendar and content planner updated.

  • You’ll co-ordinate the delivery of creative projects for the marketing team including web assets, digital screens, web landing pages, photography, print and digital magazines and leaflets.

  • You’ll co-ordinate the end-to-end delivery of new product launches from arranging sample delivery and studio timings, agreeing the set design for lifestyle and product photography. Chasing studio to hit launch deadlines. You will receive, approve, file, and amplify assets to our PR and Asset library, Digital teams, and 3rd party agencies.  You will also select and supply resized photos for our SEO content articles.You will upload new products through our CMS.

  • You will co-ordinate the media and creative for local store launches from media briefings, setting objectives, budget and track desired outcomes and performance.  You’ll plan all aspects of creative asset production needed for your local advertising and ensure timely delivery of Digital Screens, Radio, PR, Social Media and Influencer You will also communicate your local advertising through internal comms with the store and Regional Sales Managers.

  • You will harvest UGC and contact users for permissions and higher res shots and you will co-ordinate Influencer projects.

  • You will ensure all assets are filed and named correctly so you can amplify and distribute, so all stakeholders can find relevant content easily.

  • You’ll be brilliant at process, administration, and reporting. Ensuring all projects have Purchase Orders raised if need be and are tracked using excel and trello and finished projects are launched or handed over to the stakeholder then logically filed in an accessible for the business to find in our creative library.

  • Your Marketing Assistant skills may also be needed to support in areas such as Pricing & Promotions, PR, Social Campaigns, and larger campaigns such as TV and VOD, Sponsorships, In store music, recordings, media and production.

  • You will also deliver on point assets, aiming for ‘first time’ sign off from the Brand & Communications Director.

  • It goes without saying you'll be a seasoned user of Trello and Microsoft platforms, and a keen eye for spotting how things can be improved and streamlined to make us more efficient. You'll also have solid commercial skills and are able to manage budgets and admin systems and processes.

About You!

Must haves:

  • You’ll be a planner, doer and make it happener.
  • Highly organised with flawless attention to detail.
  • You’ll need to have an acute eye for detail and accuracy.
  • You’ll be super-organised, proactive, forward thinking, and able to take responsibility.
  • Confident and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to work at speed maintaining the highest standards.
  • You should possess demonstrable experience working in retail central Teams.
  • You’ll be brilliant at process, administration, and reporting.
  • Good Microsoft office skills especially word and excel.
  • Solid experience in taking a project from initial to completion.
  • Ability to oversee, delegate and co-ordinate a team workflow across varying deadlines and budgets.

Nice to haves:

  • Adobe software knowledge – creative suite, InDesign, photoshop and illustrator.

  • Fabulous interpersonal skill and confidence to seek answers/follow up.

  • Store (retail) or operational experience.
