Grant Darlington

Vice President Strategic Account Operations at Taylor

Grant Darlington has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Grant started their career in 1984 at McDonnell Douglas as a Supply Chain/Industrial Engineering Manager. Grant later joined Gem City Engineering as a Division Manager, where they introduced Lean Manufacturing and Supply Chain Rationalization.

In 2004, Grant worked as a Materials Manager at LADD Industries and then served as the General Manager at CBC Connect in 2005-2006. Grant was subsequently the Director of Operations at Robert Rothschild Farm for five years, where they implemented forecasting and MRP systems, reduced inventory by 50% and set up a new distribution center.

From 2012 to 2013, Grant held the position of VP of Operations at FibreGlast Developments. Following that, they worked as an Operations and Supply Chain Consultant at Allegiant International, focusing on performance improvement consulting to the automotive OEM supply chain. Grant utilized Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints methodologies to enhance output and minimize assembly line downtime.

In 2013, Grant also opened a retail dance apparel store, Never TuTu Much Dance Apparel, alongside their wife.

Currently, Grant is the Vice President of Strategic Account Operations at Taylor Communications (formerly known as Standard Register) since 2014. In this role, they are responsible for customer service and supply chain operations for major clients in the print industry.

Grant Darlington completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at The Ohio State University from 1980 to 1984. Grant also pursued an MBA in Business Management at Pepperdine University from 1987 to 1989.
