Matt Cross

Matt Cross has a diverse work experience in the media and entertainment industry. Matt started their career in 2006 as a freelance film producer, UPM, location manager, coordinator, grip, SLT, and truck PA. Matt worked on various projects such as music videos, network promos, commercials, movies, and TV shows.

In 2011, Matt joined Maker Studios Inc as an Executive Producer, Branded Entertainment. Matt produced a wide range of videos, including short films, comedy, music videos, and branded entertainment. Matt also managed production for multiple concurrent campaigns and ensured compliance and risk management in all aspects of physical production.

From 2016 to 2018, Matt served as the Director of Operations at Vertical Networks. Matt was initially hired as the Head of Production for the startup digital content studio and later assumed administrative duties, HR and IT responsibilities, risk management, and policy development. Matt led a large creative team and implemented compliance, budget, and logistics protocols.

Following that, Matt worked as the Director of Operations at First Media US from 2018 to 2019. Matt was responsible for production and studio operations, overseeing a team of 70 producers, editors, tradespeople, and support staff. Matt implemented media server workflow, project management, budgeting, and logistics protocols, and trained production teams in client services and other best practices.

Matt joined One Health Labs in 2020 as the Director of Production. In this role, they served as the regional manager of a clinical laboratory network that provided COVID-19 testing to the film and television industry. Matt managed laboratory staff and field teams, oversaw physical operations, and interacted with clients from major film studios.

Currently, Matt holds the position of Director of Operations at Technical Multimedia Design, Inc. (TechMDinc) since 2023. Further information about their role in this company is not provided.

Matt Cross attended St. Edward's University from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology.
