Luke Turechek

Luke Turechek has over 18 years of work experience in the field of life sciences. Luke began their career in 2003 as a Research Associate at Yale University. In 2005, they moved to Boston Biochem as a Research Associate. In 2007, they joined Altus Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Scientist, where they were responsible for developing fluorimetric and titrimetric enzyme assays, as well as biophysical characterization. In 2009, they joined Bristol-Myers Squibb MDT-Waltham (Adnexus) as a Research Investigator. In 2018, they joined CRISPR Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist, Early Analytical Development, where they were responsible for qPCR, ddPCR and NGS-based assay development, qualification and validation for drug substances and drug product. Luke later moved to the role of Scientist II, Early Analytical Development, where they were also managing a team of research associates for routine sample analysis and novel assay development. In 2022, they joined Tectonic Therapeutic, Inc. as a Principal Scientist.

Luke Turechek's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and German Studies from Dartmouth College, which they earned between 1999 and 2003. Luke also earned a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the Harvard Extension School in 2018. Before attending Dartmouth College, they attended Shelton High School and earned a High School/Secondary Diploma and Certificate between 1995 and 1999.
