Thomas Vles has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Thomas is currently working as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Ageras Group, a company that provides accounting, banking, and tax software for small businesses. Prior to this, Thomas served as the CEO of Tellow, a company that simplifies accounting for small businesses and freelancers.

Thomas also has experience in investment and advisory roles. Thomas worked as an investor and advisor at BlueBottle Ventures, where they invested in early-stage startups and provided advisory services. Thomas also served as an advisor at Antler, a program that generates leading companies of the future, and provided support and lectures to portfolio companies.

Thomas has a track record of founding and leading successful startups. Thomas was the founder and CEO of mycapa.city, a market leader in software for locations to help uphold Covid-19 measures. The company was later acquired by Orderli, a Y Combinator-backed startup. Thomas also founded and led wedoido, a platform for online wedding planning, and Poopy Cat, an e-commerce company for sustainable cat products. Both companies were acquired by market leaders.

In addition, Thomas has experience in the startup ecosystem. Thomas served as the Managing Director of the Dutch Startup Association, where they reorganized the largest lobby organization for startups and scaleups in The Netherlands and implemented strategies for member growth and social media engagement.

Before venturing into startups, Thomas worked as a strategy consultant at Squarewise, where they specialized in sustainability and innovation for the private and public sectors. Thomas also served in various roles at &niped (Persoonlijke Gezondheidscheck), where they co-created a platform for personal prevention and early detection strategies in healthcare.

Thomas Vles has a strong educational background in the field of Psychology. Thomas obtained two Master of Science (MSc) degrees in Psychology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), completing their studies in 2010. Prior to that, they attended VU Amsterdam from 2005 to 2008 for their undergraduate studies in Psychology. Before their time at VU Amsterdam, Thomas attended the University of Amsterdam from 2003 to 2005, where they studied Psychics and Astropsychics.

In addition to their academic education, Thomas Vles has also obtained various certifications and participated in expeditions. Thomas earned their Open Water Diver certification from PADI in 2012, followed by their Advanced Open Water Diver certification in 2020. Thomas has also received specialized training in Rescue Diving and Emergency First Response (EFR) from PADI. Thomas has successfully summited several peaks, including Mont Blanc in 2020 and Mera Peak in 2021. Thomas has also participated in expeditions to the North Pole and Margarita Peak & Albert Peak in Uganda and Congo, respectively. These expeditions were organized by Oceanwide Expeditions and the Rwenzori and Nepal Mountaineering Association.
