Bram Straten

Lead Maintenance Onshore | A.i. at TenneT

Bram Straten has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Bram started their career in the military, serving as a Military Service and later as an Officer Cadet in the Dutch Ministry of Defense. Following their military service, Bram worked as a Coordinator at PPS Security Group, where they had advisory responsibilities regarding third-party security.

Bram then joined Alliander as a Management Trainee, initially working as a Procurement Consultant and later as a Department Team Lead. In these roles, they focused on contracting new contractors and improving cooperation between various grid operators.

Bram then moved to Liander, where they held the position of Senior Team Manager for Combined Consumer Connections. In this role, they oversaw the daily production operations of a team of engineers working on connecting new housing projects to the electricity and gas grids. Bram also temporarily managed another team responsible for short-cycle projects.

Afterward, Bram worked at Ksandr as a Project Manager and Chair of Data & Analytics, where they chaired various expert groups and acted as a chair for the Data Analytics group.

Bram then joined TenneT TSO B.V. as a Program Manager for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), where they focused on improving stakeholder cooperation, creating tools and processes, and reviewing existing EMC norms. Bram later took on the role of Program Manager for Risk-Based Maintenance and is currently working as the Lead Maintenance Onshore, leading a team of strategists responsible for maintenance strategies and failure investigations.

In addition to their corporate roles, Bram also has experience in Windkracht 5!, where they worked as a Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior Business Consultant.

Overall, Bram has demonstrated expertise in project management, team leadership, stakeholder management, and strategy development across various industries.

Bram Straten earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in War Studies & Law from the Royal Military Academy from 2009 to 2013. Bram then pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Public International Law from Utrecht University from 2014 to 2016. In 2017 to 2018, Bram completed a Management Traineeship Coaching program at de Baak. In 2023, they obtained a certification in Data Science: Bridging Principles and Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Additionally, Bram holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Professional Scrum Master I.
