Michael Pavloff

VP of Technology at Terran Orbital

Michael Pavloff has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Michael is currently serving as the VP of Technology at Terran Orbital Corporation. Prior to this, they held the role of Director at Raytheon from 2020 to 2021. In 2020, they also served as the Chief Technology Officer at OneWeb Satellites. From 2013 to 2020, Michael worked at RUAG Space as the CTO, overseeing product strategy, innovation, and development. Michael led a team of chief engineers and product lead engineers with a significant budget. Before that, they worked as a Chief Engineer at Higher Ground LLC, where they provided consultancy services for satellite-based messaging systems. From 2007 to 2013, Michael was the Executive Director at Space Systems Loral, responsible for program execution and the development of new satellite products. Michael also held positions at Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems as a Program Director and at Boeing Satellite Systems as a Program Manager. Michael started their career at MITRE as a Lead Technical Staff member.

Michael Pavloff obtained an AB in Physics from Harvard University between 1984 and 1988. Following this, they pursued a higher education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they obtained an SM in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from 1990 to 1993.
