Daniel Torraca

Daniel Torraca has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 as a lifeguard for the Town of Leesburg. In 2014, they became a lifeguard for VCU Recreational Sports and a freelance illustrator for their own business, Daniel Torraca Illustration and Design. In 2015, they became a volunteer for Studio Two Three, a contractor for NimblePitch, and an illustrator and designer for Think of Us. In 2019, they became a communication designer for Snagajob and a box office attendant for The Byrd Theatre Foundation. In 2020, they became a graphic designer and senior design manager for Territory Foods.

Daniel Torraca has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Communication Arts, which they obtained in 2015. Daniel also has a High School Diploma from Heritage High School, which they obtained in 2012. Additionally, Daniel has obtained various certifications from Coursera | Google and NovoEd, including "Design a User Experience for Social Good & Prepare for Jobs" (2022), "Google UX Design" (2022), "Responsive Web Design in Adobe XD" (2022), "Create High-Fidelity Designs and Prototypes in Figma" (2022), "Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes" (2022), "Conduct UX Research and Test Early Concepts" (2022), "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" (2022), "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" (2022), "Design Kit" (2016), and "Red Cross CPR/AED" (2010).
