Zheng Gao

Zheng Gao is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product design and management. Currently, Zheng serves as the Director of Engineering for Autopilot Hardware and Product Design-Electronics at Tesla, overseeing various engineering teams focused on low-voltage electronics systems. Prior to Tesla, Zheng held multiple positions at Apple Inc., including Sr. Product Design Manager, where significant contributions were made to the development of input devices and advancements in MacBook technology. Zheng's earlier career includes engineering roles at Flextronics and Power Test Inc., emphasizing mechanical design and project management. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and a dual Master’s in Mechanical and Control Engineering from Sichuan University.
