Sam Bauer

Senior Associate at The Ad Hoc Group

Sam is a Senior Associate at the Ad Hoc Group. Sam joined The Ad Hoc Group after graduating with an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas, with a focus in Sustainable Business. While at Haas, Sam led the revival of the Transportation and Mobility Club to bring together students motivated to decarbonize the mobility industry.

Prior to Haas, Sam was a Strategy Manager at Zoox. His role bridged go-to-market strategy and fundraising efforts for the urban mobility company. Sam was previously a consultant at Bain & Company, where he supported clients in the technology and retail sectors and he was actively involved in building the pro bono consulting practice.

In addition to the MBA, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College. Sam lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, but spends much of his time outside of work exploring California’s mountains and coasts.
