Dustin Perchal, MPS has a diverse work experience spanning various advocacy and government relations roles. Dustin currently serves as the Director of Advocacy Engagement & Mobilization at The ALS Association since December 2022. Prior to this, they were the Senior Government Relations Manager at the Amputee Coalition from July 2020 to November 2022. Before that, they held positions at the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, including National Senior Manager Grassroots Campaigns from October 2016 to June 2020 and National Grassroots Specialist from July 2011 to October 2016. Earlier in their career, they were the Nebraska Grassroots Advocacy Manager at the American Cancer Society from July 2007 to July 2011. Dustin also served as a Consituent Services Intern for Senator Chuck Hagel at the United States Senate from November 2006 to April 2007. Additionally, they gained experience as a Government Relations Election Intern at the Nebraska State Education Association from September 2006 to November 2006 and as an Advising Assistant at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln College of Arts & Sciences Advising Center from January 2006 to August 2006.

Dustin Perchal, MPS, pursued a Master of Professional Studies degree in Political Management with a concentration in Global Politics at The George Washington University from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Studies with minors in Economics and Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2003 to 2007. In 2005, they also briefly studied International Economics at the University of Oxford.
