Sefora Tunc

Sefora Tunc has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They started their career as a Tutor at Agentur für Arbeit in 2013 and continued in this role until 2017. In 2016, they served as a Social Media Manager at Nora Mode, gaining experience in content creation and digital marketing. In 2018, they worked as a Graphic Designer at e-Spirit AG for a few months before becoming a Deutschlehrerin at International School Twente, where they provided German lessons to students.

In 2019, Sefora worked as a Design Thinking Intern at Proximus and a Student Assistant at the University of Twente in different projects, including the development of a smart rainwater buffer and creating guidelines for accessing scientific information. They also held the role of Design Consultant at Loveplants, where they provided brand management and design advice for an e-commerce startup.

From 2018 to 2020, Sefora worked on multiple projects as a Student Assistant at the University of Twente, including the EasyAccess Project and the Human Product Relations project. They also served as a Student Assistant for the Fraunhofer Project Center Expertise Student Team.

Currently, Sefora is working as the Innovation & Strategy Lead for THE ARC, starting in 2022. They also hold the position of Doctoral Student and Lecturer at the University of Twente, starting in 2020.

Sefora Tunc began their education in 2015 at the University of Twente, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Creative Technology. Sefora completed this program in 2018. In 2017, they also attended TU Dortmund University, specializing in Kunst-/Kunststudium, allgemein. Following their bachelor's degree, they continued their studies at the University of Twente, obtaining a Pre-MSc degree in Industrial Design Engineering from 2018 to 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Design Engineering at the University of Twente. In the same period, they also earned a Transdisciplinary Master Insert in Shaping Responsible Futures from the University of Twente.
