Cam Martin

Cam Martin has extensive work experience in the field of talent acquisition and recruiting. Currently, they hold the position of Talent Acquisition Leader at The Boring Company since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Principal at Human Capital starting from January 2022.

Before joining The Boring Company and Human Capital, Cam held various roles at Dropbox. Cam served as the Director of Talent Acquisition from March 2021 to January 2022. Previously, they held the position of Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition from March 2019 to February 2021 and Manager of Engineering Sourcing from June 2017 to March 2019.

Cam's career also includes a stint at Google, where they worked as an Engineering Sourcing Manager from July 2015 to June 2017 and as an Engineering Sourcer from September 2013 to July 2015. In these roles, they were responsible for the recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, qualification, screening, and collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.

Before joining Google, Cam gained experience in talent acquisition at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in 2012 and TEK Systems from 2010 to 2012, where they held the positions of Talent Acquisition and Recruiting Manager/Technical Recruiter, respectively.

Cam Martin began their education at Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business in 2005 and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Management, specializing in Human Resources Management and Services. Following this, they pursued a Masters of Health Education at Virginia Tech, completing their studies in 2009. Cam Martin has also obtained certifications in Leadership Foundations, Advanced Talent Strategy from Wharton Executive Education, Inclusive Mindset, and Leading at a Distance, all through LinkedIn, with the certifications obtained in 2021.
