Alysa Gerlach

Alysa Gerlach has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and treasury management. Alysa is currently working as the Chief Operating Officer at The Broad since 2022. Prior to this, Alysa held a leadership role as the Chief Member at Chief in 2021.

Before joining The Broad and Chief, Alysa worked at Northeastern University, where they held various positions in finance and treasury management. From 2019 to 2022, they served as the Vice President Finance & Assistant Treasurer, responsible for managing significant operating funds and debt. Alysa also worked on P3 projects and was the primary contact for Moody's and Yuba Group. From 2017 to 2019, Alysa was the Vice President & Assistant Treasurer, focusing on controllership, tax, accounting, and treasury functions. Alysa also led the monetization of parking services and a privatized housing development project. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Assistant Treasurer, leading treasury, loans, collections, and investment conversions.

Prior to their tenure at Northeastern University, Alysa worked at the University of Southern California as the Assistant Vice President, Treasury from 2011 to 2014. In this role, they managed a significant operating budget and a debt portfolio.

Alysa's earlier experience includes working at Tetra Tech, Inc. from 2003 to 2011. Alysa held various roles in treasury management, including Treasury Director, Treasury Manager, and Senior Treasury Analyst. During their time at Tetra Tech, Inc., they led treasury due diligence, deal funding, financial integrating, and oversaw borrowing and investing activities.

Alysa Gerlach attended USC Marshall School of Business and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as the "Next Generation Executive Alum" from The Partnership, Inc. in April 2021 and the "Certified Treasury Professional" from the Association for Financial Professionals in June 2004.
