Steve Hoar

In his role as Vice President of Asset Management/Chief Underwriter for The Champion Companies, Steve Hoar acts as the liaison between the firm’s finance team and investment management team.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Steve provides guidance and support for all ongoing financial management needs of Champion’s portfolio of communities and operating companies, including financial reporting, controllership, tax, treasury, and internal audit and controls.

In addition, Steve provides underwriting analysis to support property acquisitions, dispositions and debt financing, and assists in coordinating the closing of each transaction. During the holding period for each asset, he ensures all existing debt compliance and lender reporting requirements are met.

Steve graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with Bachelor’s of Science degrees in both Accounting and Financial Management.
