Denise Duffy has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious organizations. Denise started their career at DDB as a Senior Consultant in 2000 and then moved on to the Federal Reserve as an Economic Capital Specialist in 2001. After their time at the Federal Reserve, Denise joined The Nielsen Company as a Manager in Research and Development in 2004, eventually becoming the Director of Research and Development in 2009. In 2010, they transitioned to The University of Michigan, where they worked as a Senior Research Specialist until 2014. Denise then joined the Federal Reserve Board as a Supervisory Financial Analyst in 2014, progressing to the role of Manager of Financial Trends in 2015. Currently, they are employed at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, where they have held various positions including Manager of Macro Surveillance, Assistant Vice President of Surveillance & Analytics, and their current role of Vice President of Surveillance & Analytics.
Denise Duffy has a solid education history. Denise obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from John Carroll University in 1992. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics and Econometrics from Penn State University from 1994 to 1996. Denise then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Honors, specializing in Analytic Finance and Econometrics, from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business during the period of 1998 to 2003. Recently, they have been advancing their education further, currently working towards a PhD (c) at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, a program they began in 2020 and expects to complete in 2023. Additionally, in 2017, they completed a graduate certificate in leadership from The Wharton School.
