Robert Ortlieb

Robert Ortlieb possesses extensive experience in resort and ski area management, currently serving as Area Manager at The Highlands since September 2016, where responsibilities include oversight of resort outside operations. Previous roles at The Highlands include Mountain Manager, overseeing grooming, terrain parks, lift operations, and more, along with Director of Guest Services, managing concierge services, lift access, and related operations. Prior experience includes the position of Scanning and Summer Activities Manager at Vail Resorts, and various supervisory roles at Squaw Valley Ski Holdings, Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, and Northstar at Tahoe. Robert Ortlieb began their career as a ski instructor at Pine Knob Ski Resort. Educational qualifications include an Associate's degree in Ski Area Management from Gogebic Community College.
