Guillermo González Albízuri is the Business Development & New Projects Director at The Hotels Network. Guillermo has held this position since September 2019.
Previously, they were the Global Partnerships Manager at The Hotels Network from October 2017 to September 2019. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and implementing new ancillary products for Air Europa across all its sales channels. Guillermo also planned the revenue strategy and established differentiated prices by channel and market. Additionally, they coordinated several internal departments such as Ticketing Amadeus, Pricing, Web Team, Call Center, Handling, and Tech.
Some of their notable achievements include designing and launching a check-in counters app for ancillary sales at both national and international airports and designing, implementing, and launching new ancillary products for Air Europa, such as Prefered Seats, Upgrade to Business Class, Priority Boarding, and the Lite Tariff. Thanks to these initiatives, they were able to increase seat sales by 23% and achieve a sales budget for 2018 of 64M (78M actual).
Guillermo González Albízuri earned a degree in Economics from Universidad de Navarra. Guillermo later completed a public presentation and American history course at Princeton University. Finally, they obtained a master certificate in hospitality management from Cornell University.
