Miriam Staav

Miriam Staav is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various capacities within the legal field. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at the Law Society of Alberta since October 2019, Miriam has previously held positions at Sugden, McFee & Roos LLP as an Associate from July 2015 to October 2019 and at McCarthy Tétrault as a Lawyer/Associate and Articling Student from August 2013 to June 2015. Additionally, Miriam gained valuable experience as a Judicial Law Clerk at the British Columbia Court of Appeal from September 2012 to August 2013. Miriam holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Victoria, obtained between 2009 and 2012, and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from the University of Alberta, completed from 2005 to 2009.
