Ian Peahota

Ian Peahota has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and design. Ian is currently working as the Director of Design Management at The Michaels Organization since 2022. Previously, Ian worked at citizenM hotels as a Strategic Design Implementation Manager and later as a Technical Services Manager from 2020 to 2022. Ian also held various roles at Choice Hotels International, including Director of Architecture and Interior Design and Director of Architecture and Brand Development for Cambria Hotels. Prior to that, Ian worked at Lance Bailey & Associates, Inc. as a Project Designer. Ian also volunteered at Architecture in the Schools. Ian started their career at Esocoff & Associates as a Project Architect and Architectural Intern. Ian's educational background includes being an Architecture Graduate Student at the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign and working as an Architectural Intern at cg+s architects.

Ian Peahota completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from The Catholic University of America from 2001 to 2005. Later, they pursued their Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, graduating between 2008 and 2010.
