Anthony Giljum

Anthony Giljum has over 20 years of work experience in engineering and technology transformation, with leadership roles in various government organizations. Anthony is currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Technology Transformation at the Defense Health Agency. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Engineer at the same organization.

Before joining the Defense Health Agency, Anthony held positions at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where they served as an Associate Director, Health Systems Specialist, and Facility Chief Information Officer.

Anthony also has a background in the military, having served in the US Army as the Chief of Engineering Services and in the US Navy NAVMISSA as the Chief of Engineering Services. Anthony began their career at USAMITC as the Chief of the Medical Network Operations and Support Center.

Anthony Giljum obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology between 1988 and 1993. Additionally, they have achieved several certifications, including CISSP from (ISC)² in 2017, Certified Acquisition Professional - Level 3 (Information Technology) from Defense Acquisition University in 2013, ITIL v3 - Foundation from Learning Tree International in 2009, and GIAC Security Leadership - GSLC from GIAC Certifications in February 2019.
