Richard Vevers

Richard Vevers is the founder and CEO of The Ocean Agency, a non-profit organization focused on ocean conservation. Richard started the position in January 2010 and continues to hold it. Additionally, they served as the Executive Director of the XL Catlin Seaview Survey, a global survey of coral reefs, from June 2011 to June 2016. Prior to these roles, Vevers was the Managing Director of Underwater Australia, an underwater art and design company, from January 2002 to January 2010. Richard is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Rhode Island, starting in September 2022.

Richard Vevers attended Eltham College from 1976 to 1988. Richard then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture at the University of Nottingham from 1989 to 1991.
