Emily Eichhorn

Director, Counseling Center at The University of Alabama in Huntsville

Emily Eichhorn is the Director of the Counseling Center at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Emily has previous experience working with youth who are chemically dependent and need more intensive inpatient services to begin the journey to recovery. Emily has also worked in business development and referral relations, conducting clinical chart audits and quality assurance reports to evaluate counseling techniques, program performance, and documentation of staff to meet certifications and licensures. Emily provides leadership to the program staff and clients through in-service trainings and is responsible for updating and streamlining policies, procedures, and monthly reports including statistical data across all disciplines of the program.

Emily Eichhorn has a MS in Clinical Psychology from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and a BS in Psychology from Jacksonville State University.

Their manager is Ronnie Hebert, Dean of Students. Emily Eichhorn works with Sabrina Blackwood - Director, Campus Recreation, Jimmy Hubbard - Director, Student Ethics & Education, and Will Hall - Director, CU & CTC.
