Con Spathas

Con Spathas has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Con started their career as the Co-Founder and Technical Director at Matchrix Pty Ltd in 2001 before moving on to become a Senior Network Engineer at Centrebet from 2005 to 2006. Con then worked as a Network Engineer at Centrebet and Gage Networks in 2007, where they designed and managed network infrastructures. In the same year, Con joined Capgemini as a Network Services Engineer, where they designed and implemented redundant data center capabilities. Con also worked as a Technical Architect and Consultant at Ardenta, managing complex projects and providing MPLS-based services.

Con joined Capgemini again in 2009 as an Infrastructure Architect, where they successfully managed the upgrade of production assets and trained internal teams on system functionality. Con then returned to Ardenta as the Director, Co-Owner, and Enterprise Architect, overseeing company-wide value creation plans and managing challenging data center projects.

In 2017, Con took up a role as an Application Delivery Consultant at Barclays Investment Bank, where they architected legacy infrastructure upgrade solutions. Currently, they are working at The Workshop - Inventors of Play as the Associate Chief Operating Officer, MSP Division, responsible for the division's operations. Con has prior experience in managerial roles, including Senior Director and Director of Information Technology, as well as Network Operations Manager.
