Shawnda Jefferson

Shawnda Jefferson is an accomplished leader in talent acquisition with extensive experience in human resources across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Talent Acquisition at TIAA since July 2021, Shawnda oversees talent attraction for Nuveen and Corporate Functions. Prior to this role, Shawnda held the position of Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at TIAA, focusing on Corporate Functions and Audit. At Spectrum, Shawnda managed an HR team while ensuring compliance with HR policies for the small business sector. Shawnda's tenure at Wells Fargo spanned two decades, where roles included Senior Vice President overseeing University Programs and Accommodations Management, as well as recruiting leadership within various divisions. Shawnda began a career in recruitment at Norrell after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Bennett College.
