Steve Robertson

Steve Robertson joined Tibit Communications in 2019 from Facebook, Inc. where he was Director, Infrastructure Business Operations Support. His team managed the Facebook supply chain infrastructure, including all data centers, points-of-presence, integrators, warehouses, third-party vendors, and other discrete locations.

He comes to Tibit with over 20 years of domestic and international technology product development, and supply-chain, manufacturing, and operations leadership experience. Over the years, he has built agile operations and supply chains in various roles at technology startups and large public companies.

Before Facebook, Steve was Director of Electronic Manufacturing Services Procurement for Ciena, overseeing global Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) procurement and supplier relationship management with some of the largest manufacturers in the world, including Sanmina, Flextronics, and Celestica.

Previously, Steve was at Cyan Inc., which launched its initial public offering in 2013. He was the VP of Supply Chain at Cyan prior to its 2015 acquisition by Ciena.

Steve started his career in the United States Army as an active-duty Military Intelligence Officer and still serves in the Army Reserve with the rank of Colonel. He has had multiple overseas tours including two combat tours to Iraq.

Steve earned a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College, an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science in Materials

Science and Engineering with Biomedical option from Michigan State University.
