Rogier Laan has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rogier began their career at GE Capital in 1989, starting as a Sales Executive and eventually progressing to Director International & Strategic Accounts. In 2002, they became the Regional Managing Director and later took on the role of Regional Managing Director Key Lease. Rogier also served as the Sales Director for TIP Trailer Services in the Netherlands and as an Area Sales Manager and European Strategic Account Manager for TIP. In 2009, they joined TIP Trailer Services as the Commercial Leader for Europe and later became the Vice President for Benelux. In 2021, Rogier assumed the role of Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at TIP Trailer Services. Additionally, they served as Chairman of the European Transport Board, where they played a crucial role in driving innovation and sustainability in the transportation industry. Rogier is also the Chairman of TRTA, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to their career in finance and transportation, they worked as an Accountant at GE Capital and a Financial Controller at Citibank.
