David Schultz

David Schultz has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David currently holds the position of Senior Director, Strategic Sales Initiatives at Tipalti. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Solutions Consulting and Director, Solutions Consulting at the same company. David also worked as a Senior Solutions Consultant at Tipalti.

In 2022, David joined Pavilion as a Member. David was also a Leadership Member at PreSales Collective, where they contributed to elevating the role of PreSales professionals and fostering a global community of PreSales enthusiasts.

Before joining Tipalti, David held multiple managerial roles at American Express, including Sr. Manager of Global Product Framework and Sr. Manager of New Product Development. David was also a Sr. Implementation Manager at American Express. David started their career at Click Commerce Inc. as a Manager of Professional Services. Earlier, they were a Sr. Business Analyst at Elance, Inc. and an Associate of Professional Services at the same company.

Prior to that, David worked as an eCommerce Programs Manager at DevX, Inc., and as a Manager of Sales Operations and Analysis at Egghead.com. David began their career as a Business Analyst at Onsale.com.

David Schultz obtained their B.A in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara from 1992 to 1996. David then pursued their MBA with a concentration in Leading People and Organizations from Santa Clara University from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, David has obtained several certifications including the Procure-to-Pay Solution Consultant from the Institute of Finance and Management in November 2021, the SAFe® 4 Certified Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2017, and the SAFe Agilist (SA) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2014.
