Derek McDonald

Derek McDonald has a strong background in sales operations and management. Derek is currently working as a Sales Operations Manager at Tipalti since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Manager Sales Operations at Cision from September 2021 to February 2022. Derek also worked at Cision Canada, where they held various roles including Sales Operations Manager from March 2020 to December 2021, Sales Operations Team Lead from April 2019 to March 2020, and Sales Operations Specialist from November 2016 to April 2019. Before Cision Canada, Derek worked as a B2B Sales Coordinator at Sears Canada from July 2014 to November 2016. Derek also has experience in sales at Constellation Brands from July 2013 to April 2015. Additionally, Derek worked as a Fundraiser at CAUSEWORX from November 2013 to March 2014, and as a Merchandiser at the Ministry of Natural Resources from May 2004 to September 2009.

Derek McDonald completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations and Development from the University of Windsor, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, they also obtained a Certificate in French Studies from the University of Saskatchewan. In addition to their academic qualifications, Derek obtained the Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification from Salesforce in August 2019.
