Timothy van der Venne

Timothy van der Venne is a strategic analyst at TNO since April 2023, previously serving as a military analyst within the same organization. With a strong background in defense and security, Timothy worked at Leiden University as a research assistant and held the position of military operations researcher at the Ministerie van Defensie. Earlier experience includes roles as a security and defense analyst with the European Student Think Tank, instructor and researcher for the Royal Netherlands Air Force, and student consultant for NATO's Emerging Security Challenges Division. Timothy's educational background includes a Master's degree in Strategic Studies from the University of St Andrews and a Bachelor of Science in Security Studies from Leiden University, along with additional studies in American Studies and Russian Language and Culture.
