Akemi T. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades in various design roles. ⭐️ Akemi is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at Toyota Connected Europe starting from May 2020. Prior to that, Akemi T. founded their own design business in 1998, where they had the opportunity to work with clients such as Aéroport de Paris, Parrot, Punkt, and Digital Wallet, while also engaging in non-profit projects and international travel.

In 2018, they became a Board Member at ENSCI - Les Ateliers, supporting future design catalysts at one of the leading design schools in Paris. From 2016 to 2020, Akemi held the position of Design Director at Axance iDFarm R&D, where they created an environment for designers to grow and innovate in UX and service design.

⭐️ Akemi also worked as a Senior UX Program Manager at HERE Technologies in 2014, where they successfully guided the design team in shipping Android and iOS apps, and at Sony from 2011 to 2013, leading various innovation incubation projects and collaborating closely with engineers.

Before that, Akemi worked as a Senior UX Designer at Nokia from 2009 to 2011, leading the design of the Nokia transport app and contributing to UI design for other location-based services. ⭐️ Akemi also worked at Sony as a Design Strategy and Research Consultant from 2008 to 2009, at Oz Communications as a Senior User Interface Designer from 2006 to 2007, and at Autodesk as a Senior GUI Designer from 2000 to 2002. Akemi T. has a diverse education history spanning multiple fields. ⭐️ Akemi pursued a Master's degree in Interaction Design from the Interaction Design Institute of Ivrea, attending from 2003 to 2005. Before that, they completed a Master's degree in Digital Design at Parsons School of Design - The New School, where they studied from 1997 to 1999. Additionally, Akemi T. obtained a Mastère Spécialisé degree in Management de l'Edition from ESCP Business School in 1993-1994, focusing on Business Administration and Management. In terms of additional certifications, they received one in "Machine Learning for musicians and artists" from Kadenze Inc. in November 2016.
